Freedom and democracy are for me…
only empty words in a state that does not adhere to any of the rules it has set itself, that overrules basic laws, that should never, by whatever act, be suspended.
My freedom reaches its limits when…
I have to wear a seatbelt in a car, when I have to wear a helmet on a motorcycle. This may seem ridiculous, but it already starts there that my personal freedom is restricted. I do not harm anyone else if I do not do this. No wonder if what is being done to us can happen. When dead children are called fake news even though the autopsies ruled out any other possibility.
I’m not worried about my freedom because…
Power and money count more than personality and society. Because it is not about being strong together. Because globalization only serves the purpose of making more money for the powerful like Amazon, google and Co. The poets and thinkers are being brought to extinction, because they would be a danger for the cancer this world is afflicted with.
What scares me is…
this state that is not different from any of the regimes it pillories. On the contrary, one has to assume that these alleged regimes, which are presented to us every day on ARD and ZDF, have done some things right when they are called so by this state and fought with wars. Perhaps only because they were not ready to place themselves under this globalization.
Should everyone have the same rights? Why (not)?
Of course. But in truth, very few people have the possibility to change the law at their discretion and use it for themselves.
What can secure our freedom and democracy?
A completely independant press that is not infiltrated by majorities in the broadcasting council, that is not force-funded. That is not supplied with fake news via dpa and Reuters. Which is checked for truth by real control mechanisms instead of being backed by ridiculous platforms like wikipedia and co.
For freedom and democracy, what role does Judiciary play?
It is the only ray of hope that still occasionally reveals a functioning state. Unfortunately there is a lack of implementation because there is no independent authority. The 5 pillar in our state. The controller is the most important element in every company. Beside the 4th pillar, the independent press.
Which is the police? Our police do a fantastic job. The majority of them know how to de-escalate. Disturbing are the pictures on demos that have nothing to do with this police as you have already got to know them (apart from a few autocratic exceptions that you can find everywhere).
What role do I play? Obviously none anymore. But I am not alone with this opinion, so there is still hope.
