Cf. wob of October 28, 2020, published by Oliver Kastner “With a nationwide action week of the independent book retail, the commitment of owner-led bookshops is celebrated: From October 31 to November 7, the week of independent bookshops (WUB) with a small program takes place locally also in Würzburg. 2020 has shown how important the commitment of the stationary bookstores is: While a large online retailer temporarily stopped shipping books during the lockdown in spring, all Würzburg booksellers continued to advise their customers by phone and online with closed store doors.
